How does your beta work?

 Disclaimer: To all the Hindi speakers, no one's बेटा was hurt in this process. Beta simply means our testing phase.

So, Welcome to Tharasis - the future of connecting people.  We're currently in our beta/testing phase. This post is a good tutorial to get up to speed

on how to use things during the beta and how you can help us build a greater movement. Congrats on being on the ground floor of something

life-changing.

The beta app itself has 4 components, which I'll go through one by one.  There'll also be a section at the end with our current bugs and what we're

working to fix:

1) Social Media + Chats:

Somewhat self-explanatory here. We have a whole social media ecosystem that's made to remove all the anxiety-inducing features (Public likes, comments, friend counts, etc). The only person who can see all the numbers is you. You can create a profile, add friends, browse all your friends content in the feed, and chat with each of them. For now, group chats aren't available, but we're working on it.

2) Games:

Well more accurately, game. We're working on creating more right now. This is the primary way for you to earn coins (discount tokens). 100 Coins can be exchanged for a 1% discount.

For now, since payments are not enabled on our app, this part might not be as useful to you. You can play the game and give us your feedback on the game itself, nothing more. We can always adjust as needed. How the discounts work in the beta stage will be addressed in the section below.

3) Discounts:

So, here's the deal. Payments aren't enabled on our app yet. We're not crazy, we just wanted to test everything else out first. The good thing is that you won't need any coins or anything like that for the discounts. All you need to do is to show the restaurant name and the discount while paying (the screen on the right below) and you shall receive your discount.

You can pay through any other 3rd party way (UPI, Card, Cash, etc.).

Also, there are way more stores than this, it's just a bad screenshot (don't judge me).

4) Hangouts:

In chat, you should also have the option to invite your friends for hangouts at all of our partner stores. Right now, you don't really get anything, but in the final version, you'd get more coins/discount tokens for arranging hangouts with your friends. So, use it as an excuse to give a treat to your friends.
